Operations Manager Mexico
De Halve Maan Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. , is part of “De Halve Maan” brewery in Belgium (Bruges). This family brewery has probably been one of the fastest growing Belgian breweries in the last decade. The brewery is owned by the family Maes-Vanneste since 1856, and is currently managed by the 6th generation. The brewery has a brand driven strategy with the well-known specialty beers Brugse Zot, Straffe Hendrik and Blanche de Bruges, that are imported in more than 40 countries worldwide. In the recent years the brewery set up different self-owned and managed structures in strategic countries to develop its brands activation and importation.
Since 2016, the brewery started its subsidiary in Mexico for importation, commercialization and distribution of the famous Belgian beers. The beer brands have a growing popularity in Mexico.
Key Responsibilities
- Stimulate the sales driven expansion within Mexico.
- Lead all activities of De Halve Maan Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V., including logistics, importation, and commercial operations.
- Motivate and coach the local team to excel in their roles.
- Manage financial operations, reporting, and forecasting.
- Use data to identify trends and opportunities to enhance strategic planning.
- Forecasting, purchasing, and ordering to maintain supply chain efficiency.
- Report progress to the Export Director in the headquarters.
Profile
- Passionate about beer.
- Minimum 5 years proven experience with complex business development matters and finance. Background in international accounting is required.
- Strong analytical and financial skills. Excellent people management and motivational skills. Positive, proactive, and persistent work ethic.
- Fluent in Spanish, any other language English, French or Dutch is an asset.
- Based in Mexico City.
